Elkhorn goes International at relish DECOR!

It's taken way too long for me to share our new and first international stockist of Elkhorn, Relish DECOR! Hallie of Silk&Burlap contacted us last year, months before they opened Relish DECOR a tabletop and kitchen division of their exisiting boutique Silk&Burlap. I couldn't believe she found us from all the way 'downtown' Frederick, America! Frederick's located about 45 minutes outside Washington DC and Baltimore... still not really sure where that is.. not having been lucky enough to venture over there yet! Love to know if you have?!

Looking at these images there's a instant warmth to Relish DECOR with mix of vintage and modern. It's actually reassuring to see our Feather Table Runners in a completely different context, complementing and working with eclectic industrial and slightly shabby chic collections!

I could definitely see myself spending a easy afternoon wandering around relishDECOR discovering all sorts of wonderful treasures. But for now these pictures will have to suffice.

Thanks to Hallie who took a chance on ordering our Elkhorn designs without seeing them in person... hope they are doing well and found new homes already!

Their Mission Statement is really something that resonates with me to...
'To recognize the lasting beauty in vintage goods and to bring accessible style to the lives of our customers through up-cycled treasures blended with conscientiously manufactured wares while supporting the core value of nurturing family, community, and the environment'.

Sunday Mooching

OH it's Monday again... how did that happen? Hope you had a relaxing weekend!
Sunday was a true spring day. We spoilt Dad with a long lunch at
YumYum Eatery and then strolled up the hill for a Moochinside fix, while Dad patiently amused himself on their outside balcony.  I still get a kick out of seeing Elkhorn displayed so beautifully amongst the eclectic mix of designers. Here are a few of my current favourites... with a quintessentially Australia flavour don't you think? I am loving the sweet Sean the Prawn cushions?
