It's taken a few days to recover from the Elkhorn Express to the Brissy Finders Keepers. It was well worth the trip & wonderful to be surrounded by such supportive & talented designers. Thanks to my wonderful sis & great buddy Erika for helping me out for the weekend & Emma Leonard & her sister Kylie for minding my stall on food expeditions & making me laugh!

There's only a couple of days till I pack up the car with all things Elkhorn. I'll be road tripping to Brisbane for a very fun & eventful Finders Keepers Market!
I have been very consumed lately with Elkhorn and thinking about our last markets of the year...

The weeks have been flying by and I haven't had a chance to show you the photos from the wonderful time we/Elkhorn had in Brisbane at The Finders Keepers Markets. The rainy weather here on the Central Coast has got me day dreaming of their beautiful sunny weather.
We couldn't of asked for a more relaxed vibe, super friendly people, old friends & family visiting, yummy healthy food, cupcakes, talented designers.... all in such an amazing location The Old Museum...

The Finders Keepers - Very soon!

Here's a random collection of our work in progress! Somehow these bits and bobs, amongst other beauties are going to come together (in the next three days) to create our Elkhorn stall for the Finders Keepers markets! Elkhorn Mother keeps saying 'we won't finish everything' but me being the ultimate optimist keeps saying 'YES WE WILL'!  She has been amazing, working non-stop. Even Father Elkhorn has come reluctantly on board, doing the coffee runs and creating new display boxes!
At the end of the day, I am also a realist and will be happy with what we complete. With all this mad buzz, I feel like I am getting ready for a party and can't wait for friday when the stall is all set up! I guess turning another year older also has something to do with it...

Elkhorn Mother on a whim

Elkhorn Mother has gone on a "Whimsy" frenzy, creating an assortment of "Whimsy Things" for you to pin onto your clothing, bags, scarves or anywhere really. Her lastest creations are these sweet colourful Whimsy tassels (first 2 images). The original neutral colours were first introduced at last years Dec, Finders Keepers Markets and went like crazy! They look like mystical sea creatures... I do love them. These will be on our online store soon & upcoming Avoca Markets (details to come).
