I recently had a couple of slow & rejuvenating days at the Hunter on a friend's friends' Olive Farm, River Flats Estate Broke. The wonderful Shelby welcomed us into her humble home with it's abundance of farm life and endless places to explore, leaving me brimming with inspiration & tipsy for more...

Oh that looks like the sort of place I could handle a little holiday at for sure... Love those bottles x
ReplyDeleteYour photos are magic. I want to go right now. Being a Hunter girl, I often write it off as a place to visit, but it is beautiful, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHave you been to the Bowerbird Project in Gosford? It's open Saturdays but go on a weekday and duck around the corner to HoneyDew Gallery at the same time. Both are gorgeous.
It's crazy the Hunter Valley is less then two hours away and I have only been there twice! It really is beautiful. I think we always have different feeling about the places we grew up. I have more photos to put up from Shelby's shop soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on the Bowerbird Project Kate! It's always nice to have something different to see during the week, so I will be sure to check it out x
